The full name of NGCL gear coupling is NGCL brake wheel drum gear coupling. The gear coupling is composed of internal gear ring with the same number of teeth and flange half coupling with external teeth. When this product works, the two shafts produce relative angular displacement, and the tooth surfaces of inner and outer teeth slide axially periodically, which will inevitably lead to tooth surface wear and power consumption. Thus, it should work in a good and sealed state. It is divided into NGCL-basic type with brake wheel; NGCLZ-with brake wheel (connected with intermediate shaft).
The gear coupling has slight axis offset compensation performance, and cannot buffer or reduce vibration.
It has small size and large transmission torque in theory, requiring lubrication and sealing. But it is noisy and expensive. It is used to connect two horizontal coaxial shafting transmission.
The coupling is used for connecting two horizontal coaxial lines under low-speed and heavy-load conditions, such as metallurgical machinery and heavy machinery. It is not suitable for high-speed and high-precision shafting transmission, and the working conditions of frequent starting and positive and negative rotation. Matching with brake, it is used for metallurgical machinery and heavy machinery requiring brake parts.
